Barb, you have done so much for us the least we can do is to pray that you and your grandchildren and their mother find the strength to live with such a painful loss, particularly over this holiday season. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your loss

Barbara

I am so very sorry to read of the loss of your son. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you must be enduring at losing him for a second time. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I would like to thank you and honour the memory of your son for without your courage in sharing the experience of your reunion so many of us would have nowhere to turn to and no example or direction to follow. I will be forever grateful for the information and support I have received from this site.

With love

I feel for you. Just yesterday my own mother passed away. I loved my "mum" (as we called her) with all my heart and even now I still cannot believe that she's gone. I still expect to go over to my parents' (now parent's) house and see her sitting in the recliner with her dog "Nico" in her lap, ready to jump up and greet me with a smile and a hug and a kiss. It is an extremely hard thing to loose a loved one, especially a relative, and especially a mother, that person who concieved you, carried you, bore you, raised you, taught you and loved you without reservation. A loved one is a hard thing to lose and a blood relative even more so... May the Gods and Goddesses bless you and keep you and yours.
