Tears started to spring to my eyes as soon as I read the first couple of lines! That song really gets me. I'm crying as I type this and I'm having a good day! Good tears, good tears. I miss my family. All of them.

Rae,
You know I am humbled by your kind & gracious words. I do what I do, b/c it's what I enjoy, & feel led to do it. Seeing you become the person you've become, is all the thanks I could ever want. You go beyond words & promises, you are flesh & blood, & represent PROOF to what a person can do, when they are properly motivated (within & by others). So, thank you for your kind words to me & my daughter. If anyone deserves thanks, it's her (and ALL those like her). I can choose to stop or change wherever I wish, but she is commited. Her service isn't relative to kind words or appreciation, it's b/c of a vow she has made. She's quite a gal, & those like her are some kind of people. Thanks, again, love ya, LS.--cedarforest

PS: BTW, if you appreciate what our military personnel do for us, just walk up to them & say something like, "Thanks for your service to our country". It is a BIG DEAL for them to hear that.

This song just spoke to me today.
As the phone was ringing off, and I stood curled in bed, my stomach was busy turning upside down.
The mail icon was shining, and offline messages were piling up.
"Where are you?" "Why do you refuse to talk to us?"
It appears her warning not to talk to me only lasted so long.
Too chicken to close the laptop, or answer anything, I put it on the music channel, and this song comes up.
Guess there is such a thing as perfect timing.
Somehow, it reminded me why I am doing all this. I put it to the max, and wrote a reply.
"I need a vacation to myself. Sorry if you don't understand. I don't want to visit now. We will meet one day, I promise. Take care." And just pressed send.
