hi - I told me 1/2 bro a while ago that I had feelings for him, at the time I was sure he had them for me too. However he has never told me back, leaving me feeling very confused. I can't bring myself to mention it again so its a stalemate, needles to say I feel like falling apart. Any advice here would be great.

I can only imagine how you must be feeling. How long have you known eachother? Is he in any other relationship? Maybe he is trying to weigh it all out in his head before he tells you anything. Have you guys had communication since you told him? How did he react when you told him?
If you would like to talk in private feel free to send me a private message. I have been in a relationship with my half bro. for 3 years and we have a child together. I also told him first but I could tell that he felt the same. Good Luck.

Hi - yes i see him quite often and we get along well, its hard going though because i want to speak my mind and i find it frustrating talking about everyday stuff instead. We met a few years ago, I have had these feelings for most of that time and I told him a year ago. His reaction wasn't what I expected, I thought that if i said somethng I would know how he felt, one way or the other, and after all this time I still don't know for sure. Its driving me mad!!

Hello Pip.

I know you are trying to get a reply to your feelings from your brother and he is not telling you what he is feeling.

In my experience if he is not letting you know it is because he is not sharing those same type of feelings and is more than likely letting it lie there hoping you'll forget it and change the way you are feeling.

If you persist, you may find he will be backing away and staying away more often. The safest relationship you could have would be siblings. That could last forever. GSA is terrifying to some people and rightfully so due to the fact that most people who carry out their feelings don't last in any type of relationship.

Hope this helps even though it is not what you want to hear.

yes this is a thought I have always kept in mind! My nerves are back to normal (somewhat) and I feel better about things, thankfully. This site has been very helpful.
