HELP!!
Are there any GSA survivors out there!!
I have been in a GSA relationship with my sister but now we are trying to get things into the right place.
I would like to hear from anyone who has crossed the line and have then got things back on track, back to a proper bro/sis relationship.
Did it work?
Do you now have a "normal" relationship, or are the feelings and needs still there under the surface waiting to take you over again?
Are we lost to each other forever once we have chosen to follow our hearts and then try to abide the expectations of society?
There are so many conflicting emotions and I can't bare to think that we will never be able to see each other again, just to conform to the expectations of the masses.
Can you please help me!!

| we are wondering the same. Although this is new to us, we stand to lose so much if we give in to our emotions. It is so overpowering at times. I cannot hardly stand it. hope you make it through & please keep posting how it's going. I am hoping to do the same. |

Well it has been almost a month since I started looking for any Survivors and apart from diamondbabysis also looking for proof that there is a possibility of a satisfying and fulfilling future in a normal bro/sis relationship there have been no responses.
So I guess I will have to take it from the total silence on this topic that there is no hope of success after consummating your love and then trying to conform to society's expectations.
I have heard a rumour that Sweden will let bro/sis relationships marry if they have not been raised together, can anyone confirm this rumour?
It would be great if there were some societies that see what these relationships truly are, love, not an illness. |

Hi. I haven't read posts in a while but when I read yours, I felt compelled to write. My half brother and I were "caught" so to speak by my husband several months ago. I had to cut off all contact with my brother immediately in order to try and salvage my marriage and family. It has been quite a mess. I missed him desperately and in fact felt as though a piece of me was gone.....having no contact with him. I spent weeks crying and trying to put feelings aside. Over the weeks they subsided some. My husband let me send him two emails explaining somewhat what had happened. In his shoes, I imagine I would have done the same. My husband knows how much my brother means to me and really wants him to be a part of our lives. My chidren love and miss their uncle.
So, my brother was reintroduced to the family after many emails trying to convince him to do so. He is very angry and bitter towards me.......which breaks my heart. He came for dinner and it went "fine." Things were a bit icy but ok. Since then we have emailed some, but he doesn't always reply. when he does reply, it is either icy polite or a jab. I would do anything to go back and try to have more self control so that we never got to this point. I just want my brother back in my life.
So, to answer your question, it's not looking so good for us right now, I'm sorry to say. I think about him often and wonder how he's doing and what he is up to..........I'm not giving up but the pain is quite real and I'm not sure where to go from here. I can't make him want this relationship..... |
