Latest Conclusion on GSA

hello to everyone again.
this is a great forum and there are alot of nice people here to discuss this topic with.

for my own experience - or almost experience,
my latest conclusion finds me turning away from GSA.
and this has been discussed and agreed upon quite a few times
with my sister.
(the ironic part is that she found out that her boyfriend has been having an affair with his own sibling!)

we both agreed over the phone not to go this route after much research on my part. then a few weeks later we met in Boston and had a nice few days together as real friends.

through studying energy i have found that this would not work for me.
i find that the stress and anxiety would return 10 or 20 times more if we had done anything on this level. let alone any other types of bad energy, whether physical, mental or whatever. this is just me noticing the universe and what i can see out there, personally.

one thing i find that helps tremendously, is dating a girl who looks similar in appearance. alot less problems and no chance of losing the other relationship!

this is my personal conclusion and i can finally put it all to rest. but to those who have found success, i still think that is great and wish nothing but the best. and thanks always to Barbara for providing an educational place to visit.

Congrats, LM! It looks as if you and your sister weathered the storm in fine form. If you want the feelings to fade and change, they will and you have shown that it is possible. You have behaved responsibly and I admire you for it.

Thank you so much for posting your experience of self control and wisdom. That fact that you did some research to see where this has led most people who act with their emotions and do not think ahead to what they could be getting into shows great wisdom that could lead you to a life time relationship with your sister, and not an affair.

I know your decision was not easy for either of you but in years to come you will know it was right because you will still be together to talk about it.

I hope others will follow your course. It is my pleasure to put this information out to others in hopes that they won't leap into their emotional stages of loss and grief and turn them into what they think will be their greatest love affair, only to find out that this is all stages which can be accomplished with loving self control.
