Nudists or Natursists

Are Nudist and Naturist Families MORE prone to incest, or LESS prone to it?

I've been to a couple beaches and "Clothing Optional" spas where families are enjoying the facilities and often wondered this.

I come from a conservative family, and have no wife or children, so I'm somewhat detached from the true geography of it.

I think nudists are probably less prone to having sex in general compared to other people.

Clothing has done more to increase sexual desire in humans than probably anything else. What is hidden is desired, and if other people's breasts, buttocks and genitals are always hanging out in the sunshine, "in your face" so to speak, they soon lose their novelty. Conversely, if all women were required to keep their left pinkie finger covered at all times, the female left pinkie would likely become an object of intense male curiosity and sexual fantasy.

In families, close bonding from an early age achieves the same thing as constant nudity: it kills sexual desire. Children who grow up together, and see each other nursing, or bathing, or having their diapers changed, generally do not grow up desiring each other as sexual partners when they hit puberty. This is called the Westermarck effect, and the people involved don't even have to be related for it to work.

So an intact family who constantly sees each other naked would be, I would guess, the least likely to be "incestuous."

Whether the incidence of child molestation or sexual assault (which I refuse to class as "incest") is higher or lower in naturist communities, I have no idea.

Having said all that, Let me ask you straight: why are you here?

Sorry to be rude, but I really get the feeling from reading your posts that you're only interested in talking about your various incestuous fantasies. That's not what this site is about, friend.

Then what's it about?

It's not about the sex. It's about the magic of the attraction.

I don't know you....I don't know your story. Mine is here to be read. I have lived in Germany for many years where nudity is less a social taboo than it is in the puritain states of America. Nudity does NOT increase sexual desire, nor does it increase sexual arrousal....unless you are used to seeing people "clothed" all the time. When nudity is common it loses it's arousal and alure. GSA (God I hate that term....like Osiris, I feel we are ALL driven by GSA. It's quite normal to be more drawn to those like you than those different from you. That's only nature....and evolution...at work.) is about the attraction that exists between people who are most genetically similar to each other.

If you haven't experienced this attraction at it's most perfect point for yourself, then why are you even here? You haven't the wherewithal or a point of reference to even begin to understand us and our situations. This is a place for healing and sharing among those of us who find ourselves in a situation that nature has made the most powerful and natural of all, and the least understood by the rest of society who have managed to avoid discovering that situation, not for getting your rocks off.

Sorry....I lost my temper momentarily, though note....I'm NOT removing my comments, just apologizing for them.

Did you say something that warrants an apology, Vic? I wasn't aware of it.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that our friend Oedipus was a troll; we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he just happened onto the wrong site. Lord knows there are enough of the other kind for him to enjoy.

Cheers.
