As we are all aware, being in a consensual sexual relationship with a sibling, parent or adult child is against the law throughout the entire English-speaking world.

Penalties for breaking that law vary, but they can be quite severe, comparable with the penalties for murder, rape or armed robbery.

Now for the poll: what is your opinion of the present legal situation?

i think it's whack, to be quite blunt. we are unfairly treated for loving someone and thats just not right. everyone loves someone else in this world and they are not critiscized. if two adults, who just so happen to be in some way related, want to be together and are in love, then who truly has to right to tell them no. God? people seem to base such a law off of it, but as you have stated in many posts, this term has been referred too throughout many popular, histroical generations such as the spartans. we deserve to be treated like everyone else. love is a complex emotion that cannot be helped, and to be judged by such a thing is just cruel.

It's an anonymous poll, so whether yours is a vote for apathy, complacency, secrecy or action, nobody's going to know but you.

These laws affect us all, and I'd really like to know what everyone's opinion is.

Unjust laws INDEED, I strongly feel that no person nor institution has the right to tell any person who they are able to Love, to the point it is sickening.

i agree too. I mean some people out there think what we do is sickening as well but that's only because of the stereo types they grew up with and things among that nature. No one truly knows our position until they experience it first hand and only then, will they realize they're own mistakes. I hate that people criticize us the way they do based on their own ignorant views. It is true that no one can truly own their heart and tell themselves who they can and can't love. I, myself, am deeply in love with my half sister and there should be nothing against that...(18 in a week btw...w000t lol). I wish this could be as normal as any other relationship. To us, really, is it any more then such? We treated our partners with the same love and respect we would treat any other person we were to be with. And it's not like were dumb people. For the most part, we're all very intelligent people with good families and good jobs, as well as good educations. There is no legitament reason for people to be against us...if you ask me...i think it's only because they no not how else to percieve this....ignorance does not and will not over come love and intelligence of such.
