GSA Survey

Here is my last call and plea for those who have not yet participated in the Survey to do so.

WHY?

We have this wonderful opportunity to educate the world about what it is like to be reunited and have GSA feelings. This has been so difficult for others to understand. As a result of no one understanding, why this is occurring, it leaves people thinking that anyone having feelings of GSA may not be normal, or they may think GSA victims are just immoral.

I have waited for years for someone to take enough interest in GSA to use their knowledge of how to do a study on this subject and at last in happened and it is all of you who come to this site for support and insight that can make this event happen.

It is anonymous so we can speak honestly without fear of recognition and help not only those who have been through GSA feelings and/or actions, that can help those about to reunite who need warning of what feelings might come up and what the results have been.

This may be our last chance for many years and I’m asking you all to come forward and do the survey so we can help ourselves and others.

This website was started for all of you to get help and education and I was willing to put my story out there at embarrassment to myself, my son and our families to help all of you. Now I pray that you can pay it forward.
We will have one more month to accomplish this by extending the survey. Please don’t wait until the last minute because the sooner everyone gets to be counted, the faster we will get the results.

For those who did the test study we are asking if you would please do it again as there are of few changes and they want an accurate accounting.

I want to thank you all who participate so we can help others. This is a worldwide subject now but lacks education and it is up to us to give them the truth as we are the ones who have it.

I have tried, but when I go to http://survey.syca.nl/gsa/index.php it does not recognize my personal ID and password.

It would be astounding if it did recognize your personal ID and password.

It is set to recognize only ONE special ID and password, which everyone who takes the survey must obtain by clicking on a link in the survey thread (which you can get to by clicking the link in the post just above yours). You must be logged in, and if all goes well you will download a file containing the ID and password, which you can use to access the survey.

Click the link, and read the instructions carefully. If it still doesn't work for you, read the whole thread. The instructions are explained about five times.

i completed it once as being on the receiving end of GSA but the feelings were not reciprocated by me.

i tried completing another as having GSA feelings and i wonder if there is a fault with the survey as it only took me a few minutes to complete it second time and i think it only went to question 22. any ideas what i should do? i havnt submitted it yet. is there an administrator of the survey?

Hi John and Barbara

I did complete the questionnaire, and apart from an issue about the wording in a couple of the later questions I thought it was excellent. Given that you are trying to get as many responses as possible, I wondered if you had considered approaching Tiy Naton on the yahoo reunion site to see if this could be a joint effort? It seems that quite a few of us are members on both sites, so although you would have to be careful not to get duplicate responses, I would have thought that members there would also be keen to get involved. tj

Hi. The offer of the survey was proposed to me by someone who doesn't want to be made known. I'm grateful for their offer and hard work to make it happen. I think they know of the other site and it would be up to them to work with them if they choose. I agree there are many who use both sites and anyone who is on the other site could use this survey also but signing on.

Barbara, I still can't access the survey, even after typing the attached username and password (in lowercase) from the instructions. Please help. The error I keep getting is:

Notice: Undefined index: userID in /data/htdocs/survey.syca.nl/www/gsa/lib/syca/user.class.php on line 96
Security error: count=0
ID =

I REALLY want to be able to do the survey. Please help.

Never mind...I figured it out. I don't keep my cookies activated. I only activate them for the sites that need them. Once I put the web address of the survey login page, it let me in.

think i tried to communicate with you on 3/2/08 (english dating system) as i had difficulty completing the survey second time round... i completed one for being on the receiving end of gsa and wanted to complete another about my feelings for a birth family member. i started the second one but it only took me 15 mins to fill in and i dont think all the questions were there like the first time. di you get the question? this has been my first chance to check but am not very good at on line forums!! would you e mail me please: [email protected]

please put "adoption" in the subject line so i know its not junk mail
