Brother and sister reunion

Unfortunately I have no solutions to suggest as I am living the situation recently and still struggling myself to find a positive resolution.
I found my half brother 2 years ago and we fell in love with one another.
My relationship with my partner is falling apart . She is simply devastated and me I don't know how to behave, what to do ...
I would like to speak with someone who shares the same experience .
Thanks for your help.

no solution

I don't have any type of solution for you, I've only recently experienced something similar to your situation, but a little different. I'm confused, lost, and don't know what to do about it.

Hi there. Mark here from Canada. I recently went down the road of reunion with a half-sister. I found out that my birth mother was killed in a house fire 15 years ago but I had sister.

I would say that I have definitley been expereincing GSA and I sense that my sister is as well. My wife picked up on these signals very early on and has been quite concerned for me. After many struggles with my wife explaining that is was "bonding" that was happening...I decided to go for counselling. I was referred to a very capable therapist in the Toronto area who began to legitimize my feelings and emotions.

I have found that over last number of weeks these intense feelings of attraction have subsided. Although much of that may be due to the fact that we do not live in the same province, I feel that I am now better eqipped to deal with these emotions.

I have had to realize that I have a wife and baby on the way and although this is a signifcant chapter in my life (reunion) I need to make sure that my emotional energy is going to the place where it is needed the most.

Wondering...

I am wondering if it is illegal from a legal standpoint to have an intimate relationship with a reunited sister/brother...I realize it is both morally and socially unacceptable but is it legally unacceptable as well????? Thanks for help

Mkraft, thank you for sharing. I like your wife started seeing things right off the bat and or 3 weeks later. They were like magnets, stare into each others eyes etc....everyone saw it, even her oldest son. It was sweet at first, but then got strange real fast. Then they were talking ALL day and I said something and they both said they were just catching up on the past. Then I over heard a conversation (see my threads/posts) and it confirmed something was not right. They both swear they have never been intimate it was just a bond they could not explain. My husband wanted to leave me for 5 months after I accused them of sleeping together. It was a lot of I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BABY that kind of romatic talk in the 6 minutes I heard, he was NOT talking to me like that and we just got married. It was like he was obessed with her and she is NOT his type. No offense, but she is heavy and cute, but he is way out of her league (just being honest) so it was that much harder for me to understand.......now 16 months later we are FINALLY talking about it all and he was very upset that I made what they had DIRTY and UGLY instead of what it was, just pure strong love......is that what you have for your sister or is it a sexual urge as well....I know my husband and he shows his love thru love making, that is where his passion lies....so it was hard for me to NOT believe it was ever physical......so you see we the spouse are HURTING so much for you and because of you....remember what you have and be sure that you can loose it real easy and for what?

She would never leave her husband for mine and they could not have hid forever without getting caught, is it worth it to loose what you can have to have what you can never have? Work it out ! YOu will save many hearts and lives, especially your own.

He still claims he has never been with her or another woman in 13 years, he is not a cheater or was not before her. Shoud I believe him, or is he covering because what it will do?

He finally opened up and said I am the ONLY one he has ever been in love with and it is not the same with her at all, she is link to his past....we shall see !
