May I ask you both a question?

Why is it that you have singled me out as someone who is "damaged, hurt and in need of help" and someone you are YELLING at? What is your purpose in this?

Why is it that the assumptions you made about me Lost are based on a past relationship with someone else? Is it because I am challenging you? Am I drawing some same responses from you that another person has done? I know none of this is personal, so there is something in my posts that is challenging you. Something that neither of you agree with or are prepared to open your mind up to?

It doesnt' feel as if it is a simple difference of opinion or neither of you would have made the most appalling assumptions about who I am. And thats all they are here. Assumptions, that, if I was not a HEALED person, could very well have caused some very painful repercussions. Put bluntly, if I wasnt a HEALED and whole person who has gained the knowledge and acceptance of this phenomenon, your post Lostsister, would have been something destructive in my own healing.

I'm sorry, but I feel there is something more here than just me posting my own experience, thoughts and knowledge.

Would either of you like to clarify your position, and mine, in this forum as to how you wish me to remain being a part of this group, offering only my honest opinions, love and support to those who think and feel differently to youselves? Without you making assumptions about my mental health or otherwise, and without making those horrible generalised assumptions?

I look forward to your responses and my wish is that they are offered with the unconditional love and are not as disrespectful as your earlier posts to me.

The answers have already been given (several times)

Roe,
If you would do as I have asked, & read my posts, plus, accept the words as written, rather than assume they mean something they don't mean, then every question you've asked has already been answered. To rehash things, serves no purpose, especially with the mindset that you've developed.

If you truly mean the things you say about love & respect, then read your words to us. Do they come across as loving & respectful?--cedarforest

PS: As far as who I think I am, & why I do as I do, I'm the last person who should answer that, b/c I am biased. I am merely someone who does what he feels is the right thing to do. I do care about what others think of my words & actions, but my reasons for doing it, transcend beyond whether they are popular, or not.

So what you are saying is Shadow, that this site is ONLY for people who do not "cross the line" and that other people must conform to that way of thinking or their opinions don't matter, or are wrong?

That I am "stirring a pot" because you are all made to feel uncomfortable with the idea that the sexual component is wrong and bad and one must atone by following a rigid path set by others who believe they might know what is better for someone because it is their own belief?

Isn't exploring other possibilites all about growth, healing and acceptance? Isn't exploring other possibilities about something other than toeing a moral line set by someone else who Thinks they know better than what I know for myself?

As adults, is it even possible that others can see this is not a straight line, that there are layers upon layers of circumstances that some refuse to even look at, comprehend, understand, simply because they are saying having sex is wrong, bad and sinful? People in the dark ages used to burn women on stakes simply because of the fear of their belief systems. This forum is a trial by fire as well.

It appears to me, that the ones being railed on here are those that YOU have a problem with. If there are those who have a problem with you (as you obviously think), at least we're approaching you from civility & common sense. Your cosmic mumble jumble may play well with you, but it doesn't change reality. If I must remind you, the things you find offensive in us, are things that are also illegal, & (as we've seen time & again), have horrific results on the family unit. We hope to see people escape pain, not run head first into it. You have a totally different opinion of good/bad, right/wrong. Go with your opinion, & I'll go with mine.--cedarforest

No, thats not what Im saying Roe.
I've crossed just as many lines as others here have and it turned out to be devastating. I offer my advice from my experience and from what I have
learned by others sharing the same thing AND reading the many, many stories here.

This is only an observation, but from the way you post and respond, I don't think you are really reading it. You are only seeing what you want to see.
I will agree that we disagree and leave it at that.

I have to agree with Roe on this much....sex is NOT the problem with GSA any more than sex is the problem with homosexuality. The real problem is the attitudes ingrained into our current social culture with regard to incest and homosexuality. The problem is the attitudes that people have toward others. The problem is the absence of maturity some have towards relationships. Sex is just an momentary action of mutual enjoyment. It's what follows on it that turns it into a terrible morase of problems.

Let's not let the tail wag the dog here.

I'm sorry Cedar. I thought we were supposed to be more concerned with the psychology of GSA rather than the Law.
