Soconfused,
Any improvement, is improvement. I'm glad to hear that you have "better days", to some degree. Much better days will lie ahead, if you "plan your work, & work your plan". You can train your mind & yourself to redirect the thoughts that lead to pain. The strongest among us are NOT those with physical might, but those who are "self-controlled". It is a wealth that very few of us experience to the degree that will change our lives from unmanageable, to peace & contentment. One day at a time & one decision at a time, will reap peaceable friuts & a bountiful harvest. Best wishes to you.--cedarforest |

I agree with Stars on this.
Once it is out there, there is no taking it back. Yeah, with lots of effort and time you can have a 'normal' relationship again, but it is unimaginably hard. Once the words 'I am in love with you' are out, there is no way you can go back to being friends immediately. One will be under pressure, where if he/she returns the feelings will have to change they're whole life according to it, or risk losing them forever. The other faces possibility of rejection, fear and pain. Even if they share the love the chances of having a happy and fulfilled relationship are small, since society is against it. And not all have the possibility or means to uproot and move away together. I know it is hard. I went threw that phase where I obsessed over every word, every look every smile. Where there would be a high and a low. But to be honest, now I miss that. However crazy that sounds. We could still be siblings then. I could get a high with him without it having to be sexual. I could have had a normal life without the price of losing him forever. Now, that the words are out, there is no way back. He can't pretend we weren't together, I can not pretend he didn't break my heart. And I have been trying SO much to go back but we can't. How do you become friends with the love of your life that broke your heart and watch as he is with someone else when you know not long ago he was in your arms? Trust me, no imagining is worse than having someone than pretending you never did. I wish I could go back, and we would become best friends again.. So please, consider before you do anything. Because there is not only the chance that things will go good, but the chance things will go horribly wrong. Is it really worth losing the person forever?
