I am just curious
I am a guy and have a strong feeling towards my first cousin. we grew up together, but later we were separated as our family moved. I have not met her for a long time, but I do keep getting these dreams that I cannot control. I am not sure how she feels towards me, but these dreams are extremely strong, filled with love, feelings and physical desires. Is this GSA?
Am I the only guy here that is posting? Most of these posts are from women..so I was wondering if this impacts women more severely? Or guys just dont want to show their feelings? |

No you are not the only guy posting or reading this site. Yes, men are not as willing to expose their feelings as women are. I know there are a lot of men who read this site because they want to know what GSA is all about due to family members who are reunited that may have feelings of longing for the lost son or daughter or sibling. I'm sure there are many people just looking for information on this site and not writing to share their own feelings. Then there are some who get on this site to shock or use for their own purposes and I try to eliminate them as fast as I can. We are here to help, not shock or help the peverted mind. I don't think being attracted to a cousin or any family member is an unusual occurence. Most people have probably been attracted to a relative to different degrees. We are sexual beings drawn to others who are attractive or loving or sexy. The attraction is not evil, it is natural but what we do with this attraction is crucial. We have a lot of emotions that may come easily or naturally. When we are hurt or abused we may have urges to stop the abuse but eliminating the person who is doing this to us. The best way to do this is to get out of this persons way and move on. Some people take the other road of eliminating the person and having to go to jail for the rest of their lives and cause misery to a lot of people including themselves not to mention that we have no right to take anothers life. My point is that we have choices in this world. My hope is that we use good sense and do the right thing. A cousin relationship is farther removed than a sibling and in some states it is not illegal to marry. My grandparents are first cousins. This was a marriage of necessity as she was widowed with three children and no means of support other than to do laundry for people. My grandfather married her so she wouldn't lose her children. They had 4 daughters, the first was my mother who will be 92 in a few months. Everyone was healthy other than a strong line of asthma and allergies. A lot of us are artists also. But society today has yet to accept sibling marriages or parent/child. So if you read many of the posts in this site, you may see what types of problems can occur when we cross the line so to speak. I hope that helps you understand. Barb Gonyo
