jealousy
Hey!
I'm really sorry about the way the relationship is going with your sister. Those were the same ages my half brother and I were when we met. I was 16 and he had just turned 21. He is exactly the same way you are...very possessive and jealous, even though I tell him all the time that he has nothing to worry about. I know you said you were a little bit younger than we were when we met but I think you may be feeling that way because you don't want to lose your sister again. You went those years without her and now the thought of her being around anyone else is upsetting to you, same with my brother. We have been together for 3 years now, I'm 19 he's 24, and I'm in college which is so hard on both of us. He's doing so much better with the whole jealousy thing but I know it still hurts him. Try not to get too down on your sis and just understand she's still young and trying to experience high school and be a teenager. She's not doing anything to intentionally hurt you, I know from experience...it's very hard to say no to your friends when they want you to go out. But I'm sure she loves you and just try to trust her as much as you can. I know my hb tries really hard to not get angry, but it can be difficult. I know he loves me more than anything and I tell myself that is why he does it, but it does hurt my feelings he can't trust me more. I hope that MAYBE I helped a little bit if not sorry for wasting your time! Anyways, I hope things get better! I know you want to protect her, but try to be understanding.lfmor

I Agree with Lfmor, i love my HS to death, shes my world, im jealous when she talks to other males, but it really doesnt bother me as much.. because i trust her completely. knowing that i put my heart into this relationship gives me that extra boost of confidence so if its betrayed then i know that i did all in my power to prevent it...i know i did nothing wrong...its really hard for me im also 19 and shes 26 and when i think of the men who had her before me i get so angry and jealous...i hate that about me i was never liek this in a relationship..but i feel its because im so in loves with her and i dont want to ever lose her again...to anyone..i want her in my life for as long as i live, i cant picture life without my baby... speaking of babies...i want to have a child with my HS is there anything i should know about this process??? and relocating to somewhere we can live in peace...i was thinking France.... please anyone someone help..thanx in advance..

Moving away...
I met my full sister 5 years ago and fell in love with her right away. I was 32, and she was 30. I moved up near where she lived when we met. After awhile I figured the brother/sister relationship wasen't going to work, and she didn't return my feelings. The jealousy was unbearable. Long story short...I wound up moving back where I had come from. I just made it out before the real estate market crashed, If I had waited even a few months more, I would have been stuck up there.
Of course it was a bit more detailed than that, I was married (no kids at the time), and she was married with 4 kids. Now I have 1 daughter and another on the way, and she's since had another kid. I had to sell my house and buy one near her when I moved up, and in the process I bought her a house (I know, im a sucker). But the point is, If you met your sister as an adult and your in love with her, and she doesn't return your feelings, IMHO...Just leave. Do yourself a favor. Treat it like buying and selling a stock. If the reasons you bought the stock turn out to be false or have changed, what should you do?...DUMP IT!!! Cut your losses! Don't throw good money (or feelings & heartache) after bad! What are you going to do, sit around and dwell on it and hope things will change? Get out of there man. If they do change one day (fat chance), then re-evaluate the situation then...but in the mean time...get while the gettings good and meet some one who you will love you back and can be with. Wish it weren't so cut and dry. If it was a normal love affair then maybe you could stick it out near her, but this is different. Its too powerful to fight. you won't win. You'll just go nuts near her. You get too obsessed and it will cost you so much. You owe it to yourself to make yourself happy, cause you only have one life, and you shouldn't waste it. You owe that to yourself. cap |
